When Jonah Jackson, a crucial free agent, fell ill during Wednesday’s practice, there was concern for the Los Angeles Rams ‘ offensive line this week. The 27-year-old safeguard may not lose much time, if any, of the upcoming period due to the injury, the team learned soon after.
Jackson, however, may get sidelined for around six months and lose at least the rest of the summer, according to the NFL Network. The offensive player had a rope on his left arm when he left Wednesday’s training.
The timetable puts Jackson’s gain right around the group’s season opener against the Detroit Lions, Jackson’s former staff. Jackson is expected to start left protect if he recovers for the start of the season.
Jackson also missed a little time with the team earlier this year because of a knee injury, but he did n’t make the team’s PUP list until training camp started. He was also limited in OTAs. He is currently recovering from a humerus injuries and is sidelined once more.
Jackson missed the NFC Championship because of a small bubble break sustained during the divisional round while playing for the Lions in 2023. He even missed time last year because of ankle and wrist problems.
The Rams secured Jackson in free agency, signing a three-year,$ 51 million deal in March.
Jackson started 12 games in 2023 and has 57 goes in his job. The Lions drafted him with a 2020 third-round find.
