PARIS– The U. S. men’s 3×3 baseball team fell to 0-2 in swimming play in the Paris Olympics with a 19-17 lost to Poland Wednesday evening.
With about 90 seconds left, Jimmer Fredette’s guide was cut to 1. Micha Sokoowski added a free put a few seconds later to make it 19-17.

With about 4 minutes left, the Netherlands were led by Worthy de Jong’s basket and complimentary put.
The guide increased to 19-9 with two 2-pointers from Lasmanis and one from Miezis before Latvia added the final nine items.
After that, De Jong made a tray with less than a minute to go to make the Netherlands ‘ direct 19-12, and Arvin Slagter added the first positions in more than two minutes with a 2-pointer.
